Without a proper understanding of how prices develop and the function of the price signal, it is difficult to understand Economics. This article summarises how prices develop in a society, based on human action and the theories of the Austrian School of Economics.
Advice on how to strenghten Europe's economy - February 2026
In January 2026 the European Commission, led by Ursula von der Leyen, launched important plans to strenghten the Savings and Investment Union and to further scale-up European ventures and technologies. We constructively support the Invest Europe theme with our comments and advices included here.
New Lectures to start - Let us know your interest - February 2026
On February 9 the last Lecture of our first series of 6 Lectures took place. In our first cohort we had 12 participants from Europe and even outside. We will start our second cohort in September 2026. Please let us know, via the Contact page, if you are interested in joining cohort 2 and any question you may have.
Good & easy to read Austrian Economics books
For readers not familiar with Austrian Economics, we would recommend the following 2:
1. Economics in One Lesson, by Henry Hazlitt. Originally published in 1946 with a strong influence by Ludwig von Mises.
2. What has Government done to our Money, by Murray Rothbard. Originally published in 1963 with an history of money and sharp critiques of central bank intervention.
